The Best Tiramisu Delivered To Your Door (London)

Updated: Mar 12, 2022

Recently I've been eating so much tiramisu, thanks to the small businesses who are making this delightful dessert and delivering it to my door. I might not be travelling to the tiramisu right now, but the tiramisu is travelling to me. The concept of making and selling just tiramisu is my dream business, so to meet the people making the dream a reality is so exciting and inspiring!

The below post covers the businesses I have ordered from. There are a couple of others I am aware of so maybe a "Part 2" post will follow later in the year.

Ele's Tiramisu

Ele's tiramisu is elegant and chic. There is a deep layer of soft cream, then at the bottom you will find your coffee soaked sponges awaiting your arrival. But there's no rush to get there! I enjoyed savouring every scoop, flavour and texture on the way and I found the composition (cream on top, sponge on bottom) extra indulgent, reminding me of a special tiramisu I had in Rome a few years ago.

Tiramisuper

Ale and Eli are the duo behind Tiramisuper, making delicious tiramisus to the order. Their thick, comforting cream contains Duppy Share rum, a twist handed down from Ale's grandmother and one I definitely approve of. The jars are jam packed with layers of cream and coffee soaked sponge, so you get more tiramisu bang for your buck. As well as the classic, I really enjoyed the cinnamisu - made with fresh cinnamon grated into the cream, and peanuts scattered throughout provide added crunch.

Martisu

Martina's tiramisu comes well presented in cotton fabrics, I felt like I was unwrapping a present! I've tried the classic and hazelnut flavours - both recommendable, the hazelnut in particular was my favourite. Chocolate hazelnut spread is mixed into the cream (I loved that chocolate-nutty flavour) layered over coffee soaked sponges and topped with extra nuts.

Tiramisuin.london

Tiramisuinlondon was the first tiramisu-in-a-jar small business I tried back in 2019. Delivery was to East London only but luckily I worked around the corner and met Zaira one chilly morning to collect my tiramisu. My original Instagram post (here) described the mascarpone cream as "pillow soft", and I was particularly impressed by the Peanut and Caramel 'special'. I can still remember eating it. The classic flavour had chunks of dark chocolate throughout, which I loved because extra chocolate goes so well in a tiramisu.

One extra thing to mention is that each of these tiramisus come in reusable containers. Just give them a wash with warm, soapy water, and then your options for reusing the packaging are endless! Tiramisuinlondon also offers a 50p discount on your next order if you return the jars too.

Happy tiramisu ordering!
